恐怖片分好几种，好莱坞的喜欢用血腥、恶心的画面来渲染恐怖气氛，东方的如日韩，更多了重视心理懸疑的手法。出于大陸布景、道具和特技水平的欠缺，走懸疑路線應該是正路。別跟我說編劇也不行，那就別拍了。
大陸的恐怖片多半多不恐怖，反而搞笑。比如阿甘系列，雖然天黑清閉眼感覺有所提高，加了懸疑元素，而且也參考了日韓港恐怖片中幻覺與現實刻意模糊界限的手法。不像前兩部把功夫全放在了戲外，包裝炒作。
